How the DAF System Works
In the DAF process, microscopic air bubbles are injected into the wastewater under pressure. As the pressure is released, the dissolved air forms tiny bubbles that adhere to suspended particles, reducing their density and causing them to float to the surface. These particles accumulate into a scum layer which is continuously skimmed off.
